With long experience in managing strategic customers and defining commercial agreements in the retail sector, Cattaneo joins the D-Link sales team to contribute to the expansion of the brand into consumer channels
D-Link, a leading global company in the networking solutions sector, announces the entry of Lorenzo Cattaneo as Key Account Manager for the Consumer Retail market. Cattaneo boasts twenty years of experience in managing customers and partners in the consumer electronics sector and is responsible for the development of retail activities in Italy, with the aim of consolidating the vendor's presence in the main distribution channels.
Before joining D-Link, Cattaneo held the role of Key Account Manager in Lenovo Italia, where he followed the development of the retail channel at a national level. Previously he gained solid experience in other companies in the IT and consumer electronics sector, dealing with purchasing, product management and sales, with a complete vision of the commercial dynamics and needs of the main distribution players.
His professional path, which began in large-scale retail trade, led him to hold roles of increasing responsibility, developing a deep understanding of purchasing logics and the most effective promotional levers to increase sell-out in stores.
At D-Link, Cattaneo is responsible for defining commercial agreements, promotions and visibility activities with purchasing centers, monitoring product performance and supporting customers in the daily management of assortments, shelf availability and price competitiveness. Its entry represents a key element in the company's development strategy, which aims to increase visibility and competitiveness in the consumer segment with a complete technological proposal.
"Lorenzo brings with him a wealth of skills that perfectly combines knowledge of the product, experience in retail dynamics and a strategic vision also built in the field, working for years in the world of purchasing. This allows him to speak the same language as buyers, understand their priorities and intervene in a targeted way to facilitate the management of products in the store and propose high-value solutions. We are convinced that his contribution will be decisive in developing new opportunities in the consumer channel", he added Jason Wu, Managing Director of D-Link Mediterranean.
"Entering D-Link represented for me a natural return to the world of networking, a sector that I have known for some time and that I have always followed with interest, even as a customer. Contact with the retail channel has always been the underlying theme of my career and today I have the opportunity to complete this path, also coming into contact with more local realities. The challenge now is to bring value back to the points of sale and stabilize the brand's market shares, offering concrete support and sustainable commercial solutions for all our partners", is the comment of Lorenzo Cattaneo.
