Cybersecurity solutions from Acronis, global leader in the cybersecurity and in the data protection, are now available for Italian Public Administrations via MEPA (Electronic Market of Public Administration), thanks to the collaboration with Eurodigit, Gold Partner Acronis and system integrator, which for years has supported public bodies in the adoption of innovative technologies.
The agreement now makes it easier for municipalities and small administrations to access advanced data protection and cyber resilience tools, reducing costs and streamlining procurement processes. Acronis solutions intended for the public sector are provided through a data center qualified by the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN), an essential requirement to ensure that the cloud services adopted by the Public Administration comply with the security and compliance standards required by Italian legislation.
Eurodigit, which stands out for the attention dedicated to the needs of administrations (local), owned companies and public education, integrates the technological offer by accompanying the latter in training and awareness courses to strengthen their safety posture.
“The inclusion on MEPA represents a concrete step to facilitate public administrations' access to reliable and easily integrated cybersecurity solutions – he comments Denis Cassinerio, Senior Director & General Manager South EMEA of Acronis. – Thanks to the collaboration with Eurodigit we make it easier for Municipalities and local authorities to adopt fundamental tools for data protection, at a time when digital resilience is a priority for the entire public sector".
“The inclusion of Acronis solutions on MEPA is a concrete step that simplifies access to cyber resilience for the Italian public sector,” he adds Leonardo Giacometti, CEO of Eurodigit. “As an Acronis Gold Partner and system integrator, we help municipalities and small administrations to procure services provided by ACN qualified data centers quickly and conveniently, combining training and awareness to strengthen their security posture in line with national legislation”.
