D-Link expands its range of professional switches with the new DXS-3130 and DGS-1000 series

by Grandangolo Communications / Friday, 17 October 2025 / Published in D-Link

High-performance solutions for corporate networks and intelligent connectivity

D-Link, a world leader in networking and connectivity technologies, introduces two new lines of switches designed to meet the diverse needs of businesses, campuses, complex residential environments and small businesses.

The new switch series DXS-3130 Layer 3 Stackable Aggregation Managed e DGS-1010P/1018P/1026P Gigabit Unmanaged PoE they represent the evolution of the D-Link offer, combining high performance, flexible management and Made in Taiwan construction quality.

DXS-3130 Series: 10G Layer 3 switch for scalable and resilient enterprise networks

The DXS-3130 Series is designed for enterprise and campus environments that require high throughput, redundancy and advanced security.

The DXS-3130-28 and DXS-3130-28P offer twenty-four 10G ports and four 10G/25G SFP28 ports; the PoE model also supports IEEE 802.3af/at/bt PoE++ standards, providing up to 60W of power per port to directly power IP cameras, VoIP phones and access points, reducing installation time and costs.

With a switching capacity of up to 680 Gbps and a forwarding speed of 506 Mpps, these switches deliver ultra-fast transfers and low latency, ideal for complex environments such as data centers, large enterprises and service provider networks.

Functionally, the series offers advanced Layer 3 features, including IPv4/IPv6 dynamic routing (OSPFv2/v3, RIP, VRRP), Policy-Based Routing (PBR), ECMP for traffic balancing, and multicast support (PIM, IGMP, MLD) for efficient video and IPTV distribution.

Scalability is ensured by the possibility of physical stacking of up to nine units, while redundant and hot-swappable power supplies and fans guarantee maximum operational availability. Security features include ACL, 802.1X authentication with RADIUS and TACACS+, DHCP snooping, IP source guard and ARP inspection.

Management is simple and flexible thanks to Web, CLI, SNMP and RMON interfaces, with support for LLDP and sFlow for advanced network visibility. The switches also integrate with the D-Link Nuclias network controller for centralized infrastructure control.

DGS-1010P / 1018P / 1026P: Flexibility and Simplicity for SOHO and SMB Networks

D-Link also presents the new Gigabit Unmanaged PoE Switches DGS-1010P, DGS-1018P and DGS-1026P, ideal for SOHO environments and small businesses that need an efficient network that is easy to set up and easy to maintain.

These models integrate a DIP switch that allows you to quickly enable key functions such as flow control, PoE Extend mode to provide data and power up to 250 meters, port isolation for greater security and the PD-Alive function (on 1018P and 1026P models) for automatic restart of unresponsive PoE devices. The equipment is completed by Gigabit SFP uplink ports for long-distance connectivity, which guarantee maximum integration flexibility in mixed networks.

The three models differ in configuration and power:

  • DGS-1010P: 8 802.3at PoE ports + 2 SFP ports, 125W PoE budget and fanless operation.
  • DGS-1018P: 16 802.3at PoE ports + 2 SFP ports, 240W PoE budget and 5-speed fan.
  • DGS-1026P: 24 802.3at PoE ports + 2 SFP ports, 240W PoE budget and 5-speed fan.

Second Jason Wu, Managing Director of D-Link Mediterranean, "These new Gigabit PoE switches are designed to bring agility to the network edge and allow users to make changes directly on site without accessing the management interface. This reduces installation and maintenance time and costs."

Both the DXS-3130 series and the new DGS-1000 switches are designed and manufactured in Taiwan, reflecting D-Link's ongoing commitment to quality, reliability and innovation. Both lines embody the brand's values: MIT quality, creative innovation, solution oriented, one-stop service and sustainable design.

Through these innovations, D-Link consolidates its reference position in professional networking, supporting digital transformation with reliable infrastructures and intelligent connectivity, in line with the company vision “One Connection • Infinite Possibilities”.

The new DXS-3130 and DGS-1000 series are available through D-Link's global network of authorized distributors and resellers.
