ESET's new eCrime Reports provide quality insights into incidents, providing indicators of compromise, threat hunting rules and guidance to enhance resilience. Reports offer clear insight into intrusions and reveal clusters of hidden actions, while ESET AI Advisor allows security teams to analyze threats and take action with advice from a SOC team
ESET, a global European leader in the cybersecurity market, presented eCrime Reports, a new standalone offering within the portfolio Threat Intelligence di ESET. As businesses become overwhelmed by the growth and complexity of ransomware and infostealers, the demand for quality Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) has increased. With ESET's new eCrime Reports, organizations gain unprecedented access to data that shows how incidents actually unfold, gaining visibility at affiliate partner level, complete timeline of the attack chain, tools used and geographic-specific telemetry.
“For over 30 years, ESET has been helping governments, partners and businesses protect themselves from the world's most advanced cyber threats,” said Roman Kováč, Chief Research Officer at ESET. "The new eCrime Reports combine technical depth and functional defense guidance, based on feedback from ESET researchers internationally. This allows law enforcement units, IT and security teams to not only learn about threats, but also gain actionable insights to anticipate attacks, reduce vulnerabilities and proactively improve defenses. Focused on ransomware and infostealers, these eCrime Reports help organizations improve their cybersecurity posture, especially in high-risk environments."
The new solution includes two levels: ESET Threat Intelligence eCrime Reports and ESET Threat Intelligence eCrime Reports Advanced. Reports are built on proprietary data and telemetry, combined with unique insights from real global intrusions. Following established TTPs, ESET eCrime Reports identify hidden clusters of activity and support strategic decisions related to the eCrime scenario. Going beyond monitoring MaaS and RaaS Dedicated Leak Sites (DLS), eCrime Reports can be integrated with ESET proprietary information feeds, including Android Infostealer, Malicious Email Attachments, Ransomware, Cryptoscam, Phishing URL, Scam URL, Smishing and many more.
“Quality is key in threat intelligence data,” continues Kováč. "ESET Threat Intelligence customers reduce the maintenance required to process feeds — cutting out the information overload created by competing solutions. Instead of analyzing massive, poorly curated external datasets, ESET services enable organizations to identify and prioritize emerging risks and unknown threats, accelerating incident response and adopting a more proactive security posture."
