New and expanded manufacturing facilities in America to support high-density applications with solutions that accelerate deployment times and offer scalable infrastructure
Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global leader in critical digital infrastructure, announced four new manufacturing facilities or expansions in America, increasing the company's manufacturing capacity for infrastructure solutions, energy management and integrated cabinets. While data center operators focus on rapid scalability and “time to first token” speed, Vertiv stands out with its ability to respond to the rapidly evolving needs of infrastructure and services for AI factories, thanks to its focus on innovation and supply chain.
"Vertiv sees AI as a long-term structural trend. We are accelerating our capacity expansion to anticipate continued growth in demand," said Giordano Albertazzi, CEO of Vertiv. "This announcement represents the latest step in our ongoing approach to capacity planning and deployment as we continue to expand our presence regionally and globally. We remain committed to our strategy of delivering future-ready, high-density solutions that enable customers to plan for multiple generations of compute."
- In South Carolina, two additional manufacturing facilities focus on Vertiv™ infrastructure solutions technologies that are critical to the speed of data center deployment. They are expected to increase regional capacity by approximately 7 times at full capacity. THE Vertiv™ integrated power module are complete modular infrastructures that can accelerate the implementation of power systems by up to 50% compared to traditional constructions, while the solution Vertiv™ SmartRun, a prefabricated and convergent infrastructure for white spaces, is designed to significantly accelerate and optimize data center setups. Vertiv SmartRun is delivered as a unified system for high-density busways, liquid cooling piping, networking and containment, with on-site installation times up to 85% faster than traditional methods.
- In Pennsylvania, Vertiv has launched a new factory to increase production capacity of cabinets with integrated cooling systems, ideal for AI applications in high-density data centers. These cabinets enable simpler, more repeatable and faster implementation than traditional on-site integration.
- An expansion in Mexicali, Mexico, is expected to increase regional capacity by approximately 45% for power conversion, conditioning and distribution technologies for high-density AI applications and more traditional loads.
Vertiv's innovation and portfolio strategy reflects the needs of the AI revolution, which requires infrastructure capable of functioning as a single integrated system. From network to chip and from chip to heat reuse, Vertiv delivers infrastrutture end-to-end where energy, cooling, IT and services work together and are designed for multiple future computing generations. With recent regional manufacturing capacity expansion and an industry-leading end-to-end portfolio, Vertiv enables customers to deploy solutions efficiently and scale seamlessly.
