Acronis, global leader in the protection informatica presented today Acronis GenAI Protection, a monitoring and security solution that allows Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to control the use of generative AI in customer environments, preventing the exposure of sensitive data and protecting against malicious manipulation of prompts. Acronis GenAI Protection is the initial version of Acronis Cyber Workspace while additional features are planned to be released to offer a protected AI workspace, natively integrated into the Acronis platform.
As generative AI tools spread across organizations, companies are facing growing risks related to data breaches, unauthorized use of AI, and malicious manipulation of prompts. Many consumer AI tools lack governance, while enterprise solutions are not designed to be provisioned and managed through MSPs. Acronis GenAI Protection fills this gap by providing partners with a purpose-built solution to monitor and protect the use of generative AI in SMB environments.
AI monitoring and security delivered via MSP
Acronis GenAI Protection is designed to be deployed, managed and marketed by MSPs. Through a centralized console integrated into the Acronis platform, service providers can monitor AI usage in customer environments, including policy enforcement, reporting and risk mitigation, while protecting generative AI interactions across data, applications and endpoints.

- Shadow AI visibility and governance: Identify and monitor generative AI applications used in customer environments to understand their adoption and risk exposure.
- Protecting sensitive data for interactions with AI: Inspect prompts for sensitive data such as PII or PHI and prevent unauthorized transmission to public AI or unauthorized tools.
- Preventing prompt manipulation and AI abuse: Detects and blocks malicious prompts designed to manipulate AI behavior or compromise workflows.
