ESET opens new direct offices in France, the Netherlands and India. The new locations will offer local support to customers and partners, strengthening the company's role in their respective regions and increasing technical capabilities thanks to two new European Security Operations Centers
ESET, a global leader in the cybersecurity market and the main European vendor in the sector*, announced today, on the occasion of ESET World 2026, the opening of ESET France, ESET Netherlands and ESET India branches, thus expanding its local presence and development opportunities in these regions.
The new offices complement ESET's ever-expanding portfolio, bringing the total number to 20 local offices, with the latest to open being ESET Norden, Denmark. While currently operating through exclusive partners — Cyber Defense Group in the Netherlands and ATHENA Global Services in France — ESET has agreed to acquire these companies, prioritizing the gradual transfer of all employees and customers. The establishment of ESET Software India Pvt. Ltd. will similarly support an expansion of the local management structure and support service for this key Southeast Asian market.
“We have been collaborating with ESET for over 20 years and this new phase is the natural evolution of a consolidated partnership that marks the beginning of a new chapter, which we face with pride and confidence,” said Julien Jean, CEO of ATHENA Global Services.
"This is one of the most important moments for all of us. As Europe faces increasingly complex digital challenges, we have a huge opportunity to help organizations improve their resilience and reduce risks more intelligently. The collaboration between ESET and the Netherlands strengthens both sides, combining European technology, innovation and entrepreneurship with strong local relationships and expertise," underlined Dave Maasland, CEO of Cyber Defense Group.
Similar to ESET Norden's recent expansion, ESET will move further closer to its customers and partners in regions known for their cutting-edge cybersecurity innovations, concrete actions to combat cybercrime and strong market demand, where there is a need for more direct support.
"I am happy about our increased presence in France, the second largest market in the European Union after Germany. ESET will also have a direct presence in the Dutch market, known for being an 'early adopter' of the latest technologies and often indicative of purchasing and solution usage behavior in other countries," said Miroslav Mikuš, Chief Sales Officer at ESET. "Equally, by consolidating our presence in India, our products and expertise will help strengthen security best practices and resilience in a country whose IT workforce is a pillar of global digital capability. I am confident that, more united than ever, together we will make a real difference."
Ultimately, the expansion, with the opening of new offices in Paris, Sliedrecht and Surat, will strengthen ESET's position as a European and global player, expanding the company's direct presence in new markets. This model has already proven its value through the Cyber Defense Group, partners in the Netherlands, for example by helping ESET open new doors to provide support to intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations such as Europol and the Dutch Defense and Security Industry Foundation (NIDV), with consultancy and protection services.
"The establishment of ESET Software India Pvt. Ltd. marks a key milestone in ESET's long-term commitment to the Indian market and the wider APAC region. With a stronger local presence, we are better positioned to support our channel partners, expand into new verticals and provide advanced capabilities, including MDR and professional services. Most importantly, this allows us to develop solutions designed for the specific needs of the Indian market, helping organizations strengthen their cyber resilience with ESET's trusted protection," he concluded Parvinder Walia, President of the Asia Pacific Region at ESET.
Founded in 1992, European Union-based ESET has long been a leader in the endpoint security market. Since its inception, ESET has continued to expand and broaden its business portfolio with specialized products and divisions such as ESET PRIVATE, providing protection to some of the largest companies in the world.
