Nicola Manica becomes Chief Technology Officer while Michele Vescovi is assigned the role of R&D Manager.
Praim, a leader in the supply of complete systems for the creation and management of Thin & Zero Client software and hardware workstations, announces the appointment of two managers: Nicola Channel He assumes the role of CTO and Michele Bishops joins the company as R&D Manager. Both have developed a long path in the IT world, Manica has always been passionate about operating systems and issues related to the embedded and real-time sectors, while Vescovi has consolidated fifteen years of experience in the ICT research and development divisions.
In his new role, Nicola will be responsible for defining technological strategies, coordinating industrial relationships and partnerships, identifying and proposing the evolutionary lines of Praim products. Michele, on the other hand, will coordinate the development team, focusing on the expansion and innovation of Praim's software solutions, aiming to intercept business opportunities emerging from new application areas with products with high perceived value.
Analyzing individual skills, Manica joined Praim in 2013 as a developer analyst, later becoming responsible for the Linux sector and, finally, R&D Manager, contributing to the engineering and promotion of new projects, ensuring a radical renewal in the research and development department and leading to the creation of a young and very competent team.
Starting from 2011, Vescovi worked in the Innovation department of TIM - Telecom Italia, following the process of conception, patenting, development and prototyping of new services, arriving in 2015 to assume the role of Project Contact for TIM towards EIT Digital (European body for the promotion of technological innovation), coordinating the strategies of TIM's Open Innovation laboratories.

With his experience he will be able to bring the development team to an even higher level and will help guide us in a more international context -" declares Nicola Manica, new CTO of Praim.

Nicola Manica, dopo la laurea in Informatica ha conseguito il Dottorato di Ricerca in Sistemi Embedded presso l’ICT International Doctoral School dell’Università di Trento, completando parte del suo percorso presso la Technische Universität di Dresda. Michele Vescovi, dopo la laurea in Informatica, ha conseguito il Dottorato di Ricerca in Information & Communication Technology presso l’ICT International Doctoral School dell’Università di Trento, completando parte del suo percorso presso la Concordia University di Montreal (Quebec, Canada).
