Less than a year after the establishment of the Business Unit, the Ferrara distributor enlists new professionals and equips itself with a solid portfolio of security solutions aimed at both the Enterprise market and SMEs
ICOS, a value-added distributor of infrastructure and IT security solutions, has completed the first phase of the implementation of the new Cybersecurity division announced last November by building, in just 10 months, a solid portfolio of security solutions.
Present on the market since 1987, with offices in Ferrara, Milan, Rome and Bolzano, ICOS has expanded its offer of Cybersecurity solutions, already strong in the partnerships with Sophos and ESET, signing new distribution agreements with Clavister, Cyberoo, DFlabs, ITsMine, i-Vertix and Safetica, thus managing to widely cover the most varied requests from the market.
Despite the difficult context that has marked the recent period, ICOS has strengthened the organization dedicated to security with the addition of four new professionals: two Product Managers, a Sales Account and a Presales Engineer. A fifth specialist will soon be added in the marketing area. Also thanks to this strengthening, the company was able to satisfactorily launch the business relating to the new products and will work in the coming months to make them grow according to the objectives, keeping alive the attention in evaluating new partnerships that can further enrich and enhance the portfolio offered.
“ICOS, thanks to the important distribution agreements signed in recent months, through an efficient organization and a recognized ability to relate to the channel, is able to enhance leading and consolidated vendors on the market such as Sophos and ESET, and at the same time push the growth of new brands, including the recent agreements with completely Italian hi-tech companies such as Cyberoo, DFLabs and i-Vertix, through joint enablement and support activities, as well as business development and demand stimulation actions” – underlines Federico Marini, Managing Director of ICOS.
The ICOS offer today therefore includes the leading vendors on the market such as:
ESET, a global leader in the cybersecurity market, is dedicated to the development of high-performance security solutions, both for individuals and companies, aimed at identifying and removing all known and emerging forms of malware. The complete line of security solutions created by ESET protects all types of computing environments and platforms, from workstations to servers to mobile phones, helping its customers achieve and manage the highest possible security against all types of cyber threats.
Sophos protects over 400 thousand organizations in more than 150 countries from the most advanced cyber threats. Powered by SophosLabs, AI-optimized, cloud-built solutions adapt and evolve to secure endpoints and networks against all tactics and techniques used by cybercriminals, even ones you've never seen before.
These brands are supported by the solutions of Clavister, active in the fields of network security and firewalls; Of Cyberoo, hi-tech vendor operating in the field of managed security services, deep & dark web analysis; Of DFLabs leader in SecOps capabilities offering IncMan SOAR, the only platform for orchestration, automation and response to security issues; Of Safetica, with its own security software that offers a complete DLP (Data Loss Prevention) solution; Of i-Vertix for Network, log & asset management which provides flexible solutions to improve the User Experience and simplify the management of IT infrastructures.
ITsMine, the most recent partnership, offers Beyond DLP™️ a DLP solution for automatic protection from internal and external threats through the use of Artificial Intelligence, behavior analysis and intrusion techniques.
“We have a good range of solutions in our portfolio to help retailers and partners prevent and protect any cyber threat to their customers' data, but the journey has just begun and we will continue scouting to identify technological excellence, both in our country and internationally - concludes Marini of ICOS –. We are also developing important synergies with Sangfor, a leading global vendor that specializes in the provision of innovative cloud computing and network security solutions, whose brand, although not part of our Cybersecurity division, integrates perfectly into projects involving security and next-generation SD-WAN network optimization solutions.”
