New features in ArrowSphere help users easily understand, purchase and manage Microsoft solutions with new licensing terms and pricing models
Arrow Electronics, a global technology provider, has enhanced ArrowSphere, Arrow's award-winning cloud marketplace management platform, with the new tools needed to simplify the migration to Microsoft's New Commerce Experience.
After starting the Microsoft Azure project, Microsoft will today channel all cloud-based offers to its Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program which completely renews the range of Commerce Experience solutions, including products such as Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Windows 365. The transition to the New Commerce Experience starts in January 2022 and will be the only way to resell Microsoft CSP's 'seat-based' solutions for new customers from March 2022 and for existing users from July 2022.
Eric Gourmelen, Vice President IT Global Cloud for Arrow's Enterprise Computing Solutions Business, said: "Migrating to Microsoft's New Commerce Experience will be a significant undertaking for IT solution providers. Arrow is committed to making the transition as seamless as possible, and we've added industry-leading features to our ArrowSphere platform to help users easily understand, purchase and manage products with the new licensing terms and pricing models. Feedback from early adopters has been extremely positive."
The latest ArrowSphere updates include:
- Precise identification of all New Commerce Experience products
- Coordinated management of existing products and New Commerce Experiences, enabling gradual customer migration and a mixed portfolio of subscriptions as needed
- Integration of Microsoft's new business guidelines to help ensure purchasing choices adhere to the new terms and conditions
- Safeguarding of purchases and alerts to protect against incorrect purchases
- Support for both individual and cumulative migration of subscriptions
The updates extend New Commerce Experience features already included for Azure, such as Partner Earned Credit monitoring and alerts, and advanced configuration features for Azure Reserved Instances.
ArrowSphere simplifies the operational complexity of selling hybrid multicloud solutions and provides channel partners with the business intelligence needed to manage and scale operations. The platform includes features such as automated provisioning, comprehensive billing integration, reporting, predictive analytics and white-label storefronts.
