Common workflows deliver automation efficiencies and broad response interventions
SentinelOne, a provider of an automated cybersecurity platform, announces the SentinelOne App for ServiceNow Security Incident Response (SIR) to unite security and IT teams, enabling more effective incident response.
With SentinelOne integrated directly into ServiceNow®, customers can use the latter platform to triage threats. This integration helps security and IT teams automate a coordinated and comprehensive incident response plan across endpoint and cloud environments. The app is available via SentinelOne Singularity Marketplace e ServiceNow® Store.
“The industry is under constant attack every day, with organizations struggling due to vulnerabilities like log4j. SentinelOne Singularity provides visibility and protection to businesses, allowing our team to assess potential impact in just a few clicks. Additionally, with ServiceNow as our incident management and workflow automation platform, our team has a single pane of glass that enables incident collaboration to mitigate threats in real time.” – Identity and Endpoint Security Architect, Global Manufacturer.
Due to the increasing prevalence of ransomware and other types of malware, both security and IT teams must work in parallel to prevent attacks. Unfortunately, many companies rely on multiple, disconnected tools to manage cybersecurity programs. As a result, the inefficiency and multitude of alerts generated cause unnecessary cyber incidents that put the organization at risk. XDR solutions revolutionize the paradigm, reformulating cybersecurity as a problem of data and workflows, which require the intervention of automation.
SentinelOne App for ServiceNow® Security Incident Response instantly synchronizes threats between SentinelOne and the ServiceNow Incident Response module, providing a unified security program. Within ServiceNow®, critical incident managers can view full details of any threat, including incident status and incident information, as well as context and additional notes processed across both platforms. When the need for corrective action arises, ServiceNow® can trigger automated response actions in SentinelOne to block, quarantine, remediate, or even reverse any potential effects of the threat.
“Simplifying cyberattack investigations, response actions and remediation processes significantly reduces risk,” he said David Baldwin, Product Director, Ecosystem di SentinelOne. “SentinelOne's synergy with ServiceNow gives security and IT teams the workflows they need to improve their remediation efforts by better managing their areas of expertise.”
