The manager has long experience in supporting innovation and will support the company in market expansion, engagement of new customers and marketing communication activities.
Abstract, an established partner in the world of Information Technology serving the innovation of market leading companies, has announced the creation of a Management dedicated exclusively to the Go To Market entrusted to Dicran Babayantz. At the helm of the new structure, Babayantz will have the task of managing and consolidating all activities ranging from the engagement of new customers, up to Marketing Communication and new project actions in all those sectors in which innovative digital technologies can make the difference.
In the last three years Babayantz has dealt with projects, alliances and consolidation in the organization in a phase of company growth and has worked to increase Abstract's business by rationalizing and improving the value proposition, focusing mainly on the markets traditionally covered by the company, such as Retail and Fashion. In Abstract, Babayantz in his new role will report directly to the CEOs with the mission of bringing the renewed company proposition to other markets.
With 24 years of experience at IBM supporting innovation to offer competitive advantages to customers, Babayantz joined Abstract in 2019. Before taking on this role, he was Business Unit Leader for Italy of IBM Customer Engagement, with responsibility for Sales Management, Business Development and the Channel and Technical Pre Sales units; before that he was Head of Marketing and Communications in Value Transformation Services, with responsibilities in Italy, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
“Among the strategic elements of Abstract's growth process is the desire to increase our share of turnover, bringing our experience deriving from solid skills acquired over the years of partnership with leading Italian companies in the Retail and Fashion markets to differentiated markets,” he underlined Silvia Ronchi, CEO of Abstract. “To this end, in this reorganization phase, we have chosen to focus attention and support on these activities through the creation of a Management dedicated exclusively to the Go To Market”.
In October 2021, Abstract started an internal reorganization process, going from 4 to 12 practices, each internally composed of different competence centers. In addition to bringing to the market skills and alliances resulting from years of work, with particular reference to the Retail, Industrial, Fashion and Distribution sectors, the new Management will actively contribute to the pursuit of the objective set by the company of carrying out 10 major projects over the next three years.
Abstract aims to strengthen the Management over time, which now includes the Marketing Communication functions, confirmed as an integral part of the Go To Market. The structure led by Babayantz will also play a decisive role in Sales Management and Progression activities.
“Abstract's choice to focus on the Go to Market is a symptom of the company's desire to establish a presence in new markets that are recording interesting numbers and demonstrating great potential,” he said Dicran Babayantz, Go To Market Director at Abstract. “With these assumptions we will be able to develop and cultivate new projects together, consolidating the growth of Abstract”.
