Cohesity, a leader in next-generation data management, announced that it was named a “Customers' Choice” in the 2022 Gartner Peer Insight report “Voice of the customer” for the distributed file systems and object storage category. It is the second year in a row that Cohesity has received recognition in this category and in the North America section and was previously named a “Strong Performer” in the midsize enterprise market.
Gartner Peer Insights ratings are based on direct customer feedback. In its most recent report, Cohesity earned an overall score of 4.7 out of 5.0, with 56 ratings in an 18-month review cycle ending January 31, 2022. Gartner defines distributed file systems and object storage as “solutions software and hardware that are based on a 'shared-nothing' architecture and that support file object and/or scale-out technology to meet the growing requirements of unstructured data”.
