The integration of Ivanti Neurons for ZTA with Secure Service Edge technologies from Lookout, a leader in integrated endpoint-to-cloud security, allows you to consolidate your security posture, adopting Zero Trust criteria.
Ivanti Inc., provider of the Neurons automation platform that discovers, manages, protects and supports IT assets from the cloud to the edge, and Lookout, a leader in integrated endpoint-to-cloud security, announce a partnership to help organizations accelerate cloud adoption by enhancing their Zero Trust security posture in the Everywhere Workplace. Ivanti and Lookout have integrated best-in-class solutions – Ivanti Neurons for Zero Trust Access (ZTA), Lookout Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) and Lookout Secure Web Gateway (SWG) – to help customers prevent threats and protect data both on-premises and in the cloud, on and off the network, while meeting Zero Trust security policies.
The pandemic has radically changed the context and ways of working, leading employees to use more company and personal devices to access organizational resources while working remotely. According to Gartner®, hybrid work environments are here to stay, with 96% of remote employees wanting to continue working remotely, at least for part of the week. Additionally, Gartner predicts that 47% of professionals will join remote workers in 2022, up from 27% in 2019 (Gartner, How to Cultivate Effective Remote Work Marketing Teams, April 25, 2022). Also the Report Everywhere Workplace 2022 di Ivanti highlights changes in ways of working, with 71% of respondents saying they would prefer to work from anywhere rather than receive a promotion.
In this new hybrid working environment, companies face various security challenges regarding the protection of company data and the detection and prevention of possible cyberattacks. First of all, organizations often lack control and visibility over who accesses corporate resources hosted in managed and unmanaged cloud environments, preventing proper access and security governance. At the same time, hackers are exploiting security flaws in corporate IT infrastructure, increasing attacks targeting mobile devices. According to a recent Report, in the first six months of 2021, phishing attacks increased by 700%.
“We are excited to partner with Lookout to help organizations overcome new challenges,” he said Nayaki Nayyar, President e Chief Producted Officer the Evanty. "The partnership allows us to extend Ivanti Neurons for ZTA with CASB and SWG solutions leveraging the Lookout Security Platform. Our three core technologies address multiple, equally important security challenges and, when implemented together, the solutions enable you to embrace the cloud with confidence, offering a better end-user experience and a complete Zero Trust security posture."
Ivanti and Lookout's joint solution helps organizations protect their data, regardless of access or hosting, by preventing data loss with adaptive and contextual auditing. Compliance policies are applied with in-depth checks that analyze the user, the location of the resources, the current posture of the device and the criticality of the data, as well as threats present both inside and outside the network. The solution enhances Virtual Private Network (VPN) technology with the analysis of user and organization behavior (User and Entity Behavior Analytics), offers widespread security to applications and devices following the protocols of the Software Defined Perimeter architecture and guarantees CASB functionality to prevent data loss and theft in SaaS applications. In addition, the solution continuously monitors the customer's security posture, allowing access to applications based on the defined profile. Ultimately, these joint technologies enable organizations to integrate cloud applications into a best-of-breed Zero Trust and Secure Service Edge (SSE) ecosystem without replacing existing solutions to enable business continuity in a hybrid context.
"We share Ivanti's commitment to helping its customers modernize IT by detecting and mitigating threats to ensure a safe and productive environment for all remote employees. Together, we offer secure access and advanced data protection for all users, devices and applications," he said. Jim Dolce, CEO di Lookout. "This partnership enables Ivanti customers to continue their journey towards a Zero Trust security strategy, supported by our data-centric cloud security solutions. The technology is optimized to simplify all security operations necessary to enable remote working and digital transformation in the cloud."
