The combination will enable Ivanti Wavelink customers to transform their warehousing, logistics, manufacturing and retail environments through innovative IIoT applications.
Ivanti Wavelink, Ivanti's supply chain solutions business unit, has acquired the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform owned by Wio Group, one of Ivanti Wavelink's most innovative technology and channel partners based in Paris. The acquisition will enable customers to gain a complete view of their IIoT devices, proactively identify and remediate threats, and develop scalable applications that drive operational efficiencies. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Ivanti Wavelink is acquiring technology to enable and secure the supply chain of the future. Today, modern warehouses and distribution centers feature cutting-edge intelligent devices, including conveyor systems, sensors, cameras, robots and cobots, connected to each other through complex, expensive and sometimes risky technologies. Through this integration, Ivanti Wavelink customers will be able to easily connect applications with new systems, quickly automating their IIoT hardware and warehousing processes to optimize workflow operations.
Customers across verticals, including transportation and logistics, manufacturing, gas, healthcare and retail, will benefit from real-time information on the status of their equipment to proactively identify and remediate issues. In addition, customers will also be able to create low code / no code applications capable of automating many of their processes, while also providing new functionality. Among these, the solution's high-level abstraction will allow customers to add and replace layers of technology without impacting the ongoing chain of events. Customers will be able to easily and seamlessly integrate IIoT applications into their operations, resulting in significant performance improvements. The platform allows customers to make accurate decisions, and collect data for blockchain strategy, facilitating predictive analytics.
