A new collaboration tool for planning holidays and leaves and for managing sick leave that simplifies the work of HR, managers and employees
Talentia Software, a leading company in the development of human and financial resources management solutions for medium and large-sized companies, announced the availability of Absence, new module of the suite Talent HCM, dedicated to planning holidays and leaves and managing absences due to illness. It is a collaborative tool perfectly integrated with the other modules of the Talentia HCM suite that allows HR, managers and employees to quickly and easily plan periods of staff absence. Specifically, the module allows the digitization of two processes. On the one hand the planning of holidays and leaves and on the other the administrative management of illnesses.
Digitalization is perfected through the use of transversal tools across all modules of the Talentia HCM suite, such as the configurable workflow: the system, in fact, allows the employee to make a request to their manager and the latter to approve it or not instantly and following notification. Given the extreme configurability of the system, the workflow can be differentiated depending on the type of absence and the specificities of the country to which it belongs to align with current and specific local regulations regarding illnesses and holidays.
This benefits both HR who must set up a reliable, automatic, accurate and safe process from the point of view of archiving information and replacing paper management. The manager can also benefit from this from the point of view of individual productivity, as he delegates holiday planning to the employee with on-demand involvement at the time of approval or control via the platform. The Absence module provides, in fact, a dashboard of analytical data which allows - even in the form of a graph - to detect indicators of recurring phenomena or to monitor the residual credit of employee holidays or, again, to ensure that the distribution of holidays is balanced with respect to the workload and ongoing activities of your team.
The solution integrated into the Talentia HCM suite allows you to cross-reference data relating to attendance with other scheduled activities, such as individual development initiatives or training courses already scheduled which are immediately evident within the system.
The employee can independently plan their holidays via the platform or communicate periods of illness, via a very intuitive user interface that can also be used on the move.
Absence is natively integrated with the Microsoft Outlook Calendar tool so all planning is synchronized with the company calendar so as to be visible to both the manager and the employee, without necessarily having to access the platform.
