The company reconfirms its commitment to providing effective security features in every solution in the complete range of its products
Ivanti Inc., provider of the Neurons automation platform that discovers, manages, protects and supports IT assets from the cloud to the edge, introduced additional features of the Neurons platform that help protect the user experience, productivity and assets of the enterprise. Ivanti continues to pursue its strategy of enabling and protecting the Everywhere Workplace, combining Enterprise Service Management, Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) and cybersecurity, to ensure IT teams have a 360-degree view of the entire IT park, providing visibility and contextual analysis and allowing IT teams to resolve problems automatically.
Ivanti Neurons is a hyper-automation platform that leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to address the growing challenges IT and security teams face as they transition to hybrid working and the explosive growth of remote endpoints, data and users. Ivanti Neurons enables devices to self-heal and self-protect and offers users a personalized self-service experience. Ivanti Neurons uses hyper-automation to provide real-time information across all assets, including endpoints and the IoT edge, while also delivering a consumer-grade experience for employees. Ivanti plans to regularly update Ivanti Neurons, as well as continuously improve solutions across the entire platform, to help customers quickly and securely adopt the Everywhere Workplace.
“Ivanti has seen incredible results across our product suite and has remained focused on providing a great customer experience,” he said Srinivas Mukkamala, Chief Product Officer at Ivanti. “The gradual transition of companies from reactive to proactive cybersecurity strategies significantly reduces the likelihood of a cyber attack succeeding.”
Below are highlights of the latest security innovations presented during the quarter and focused on the topics of simplification, automation and integration of activities and systems:
- Ivanti Neurons for Zero Trust Access provides secure access and zero-trust visibility into highly distributed application environments for on-premises, private and public clouds. Ivanti Neurons for Zero Trust Access identifies at-risk users, devices and applications, protects corporate and user resources with automatic quarantine and remediation, and prevents threats based on lateral movement attacks with per-app micro-segmentation control. Ivanti has partnered with Lookout, Inc. to provide Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) protection, offering world-class DLP, E-DRM, EDM, malware detection, web content management, and incident response as part of an overall Secure Services Edge (SSE) solution.
- Ivanti Neurons for Secure Access Modernize VPN deployments by centralizing management of Ivanti Connect Secure and Ivanti Neurons for Zero Trust Access. This management and analytics platform, delivered in SaaS mode, offers a single standard interface that allows security administrators to centrally manage their ICS gateway deployments quickly and efficiently, automatically responding to risky activities of users, devices and applications. Ivanti Neurons for Secure Access has also added the option for administrators to fully manage ICS gateways from the cloud and use configuration templates to quickly and easily deploy updates across multiple gateways, or even “move and remove” configurations from one gateway to another.
- Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management enables you to implement a risk-based patch management approach. This cloud-native solution allows customers to prioritize and patch vulnerabilities based on actual risk exposure, patch reliability, and device compliance. Full support for macOS has been provided via a hybrid on-premises/cloud app since the initial release of Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management, but, with the latest release, customers can access Mac endpoint vulnerability monitoring, which improves overall posture awareness on users' devices, natively from the cloud.
“Patch management is not risk-free for businesses,” he said Ed Amoroso, CEO and Founder of TAG Cyber. "Organizations that are unable to locate, obtain, verify and install patches can experience threats that lead to easily avoidable compromises. Vendors like Ivanti are critical to organizations as they manage, protect and support all assets."
Ivanti has brought a dozen new products and security features to market in 2022 alone to support customers' transition to great, safe employee self-service.
“The push towards digital transformation confirms that the world will continue to be increasingly interconnected, fast and open for many years to come,” he said Chris Rodriguez, Research Director IDC. "Unfortunately, this rapid technological evolution has challenged traditional security controls. New Zero Trust security technologies, including Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), offer a modern approach to secure access, compatible with the needs of a digitally transformed world."
