Vigilance MDR excels in MITER Engenuity ATT&CK® assessments for Managed Services
Milan – 17 November 2022 – SentinelOne, provider of a cybersecurity platform with autonomous response capabilities, was awarded by MITER Engenuity ATT&CK® for the Vigilance MDR solution. This recognition comes after the excellent results already obtained in the MITER ATT&CK® Enterprise and MITER ATT&CK® Deception evaluations. SentinelOne is the only XDR vendor to have participated in all MITER evaluations ranging from EDR, to Identity/Deception and now also to MDR solutions, always obtaining the best results. In particular, MITER Engenuity ATT&CK® for Managed Services evaluated the capabilities of vendors to analyze and describe the behavior of the OilRig threat, also known as APT 34. The evaluation highlighted the importance of MDR services in providing the fastest mitigation to the threat and reducing the attacker's dwell time, with the characteristics of SentinelOne Vigilance's MDR services, such as:
- Accurate and in-depth identification of the attacker: the SentinelOne Vigilance solution was able to not only immediately identify OilRig as the cause of the attack, but also provide additional information, including a summary of the malware's characteristics, its evolutions, the tools used and all known associated TTPs.

- Countering threats in real time, without limiting yourself to detection alone: Thanks to the patented Storyline technology, SentinelOne Vigilance accurately tracked and detected the threat from the moment it infiltrated the simulated environment. With security policies enabled, this attack would have been stopped on its own.
