The award was presented during the annual Check Point CPX360 conference
Arrow Electronics, a global technology supplier, has been awarded the “EMEA Distributor of the Year” award by Check Point at the EMEA CPX360 conference organized by the vendor in Munich from 14 to 16 March.
"Security management continues to be one of the priorities for the majority of companies given the increasingly frequent and intense number of cyber attacks affecting companies of every sector and size. We are continuing to expand the portfolio of our security solutions to be able to support companies in developing effective strategies capable of responding to constantly evolving threats" he declared Alexis Brabant, Vice President di Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions Business in EMEA. “The partnership with Check Point is fundamental and is based on a long-standing relationship. We are proud of the number of awards we have collected since we first started working together and I am happy to be able to add this new recognition as “EMEA Distributor of the Year” to the list, which is testimony to the constant commitment and excellent results achieved by our team.”
Rebecca Dixon, Head of EMEA Distribution di Check Point, commented: "Arrow is recognized as a leading distributor across EMEA and is extremely valuable to Check Point's growth. In 2022 it successfully contributed to the double-digit growth of our channel business, driving the acquisition of new customers. The excellent results are linked to the good performances achieved in various market segments, from small resellers to the ability to support large and complex projects based on our Infinity architecture. The need for a complete and consolidated cybersecurity solution, based on prevention, has never been greater urgent. On behalf of Check Point, I congratulate the Arrow teams involved.”
While the frequency of cyber attacks globally is reaching historic peaks (+38% globally in 2022 compared to 2021 according to a Check Point search), Check Point organized its annual event to bring together key players in the cybersecurity industry. During the event, the major trends of the moment were also explored in depth, with specific in-depth sessions useful for preparing to counter new threats and concluding with the delivery of prizes to the partners who have achieved the most important goals.
