Multiple workshops are planned involving Vertiv's R&D and Engineering teams with sessions dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, Sustainability and Circular Economy and Resilience and Emotional Intelligence
Vertiv, (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of solutions for critical digital infrastructures and continuity solutions, brings all its experience, expertise and professionalism to the table with a rich and new training course on the most innovative topics.
In collaboration with the Forema Training Body, a training macro-project for 2023 called "Building an Innovation System" was created. The courses are held by experts in innovation management and university professors, consultants and trainers for the development of the value of people and environmental, social and corporate governance issues, together with Vertiv engineers specialized in the most innovative technologies.
Created by the express will of the Italian team, the first edition of the Vertiv training program started last February with the introductory kick-off and saw the involvement of over 180 participants in the in-person sessions scheduled in the Castel Guelfo (BO) and Tognana (PD) offices, between the beginning of March and the end of May. The first workshops provided insights into new innovative scenarios and the use of AI tools in the industrial sector with the application of Machine Learning tools and algorithms to support strategic decisions.
From the beginning to the end of June, however, sessions will be held (always in the Castel Guelfo and Tognana offices) to delve into signals and standards at an international level and outline the areas of intervention, including environmental, social, economic and sustainability governance, with the definition of actions, directives, certifications and KPIs for measurement. The last sessions on the topics of Resilience, Self-awareness and Emotional Intelligence will take place in a hybrid format (presence and online) by the first week of July.
The program includes a succession of workshops and thematic days to acquire knowledge and develop skills:
- to become promoters of new technologies;
- to seize the opportunities linked to digital transformation, necessary to understand the current implications and problems of the green transition;
- to deepen the scope of use of artificial intelligence within the company through activities that promote the implementation of machine learning tools;
- to understand, manage and use emotions effectively to promote collaboration and positive change on an individual and collective level.
"In a world that is increasingly interconnected and sensitive to environmental issues, Artificial Intelligence, Circular Economy, Resilience and Emotional Intelligence become fundamental elements in the search for innovative solutions to face complex challenges and promote a more eco-sustainable future – declared Roberta Gentile, talent manager director and site leader of Vertiv. – Creating the right skills, which today represent one of the main obstacles for evolutionary progress, is a commitment of all of us in order to achieve a true digital transformation."
