The Italian Public Cloud and the Consulting Company will pool their skills to offer innovative services to the market
Netalia, the independent Italian Public Cloud Service Provider, and GetSolution, a consultancy company specializing in compliance, cybersecurity and corporate governance, have announced that they have signed a partnership to offer the market integrated and highly innovative solutions and services.
According to annual report presented to Parliament by the National Cybersecurity Agency, in 2022 ransomware confirmed itself as one of the most impactful threats, with 130 events observed to the detriment of public administrations and private operators. The manufacturing sector was the hardest hit, followed by technology, retail and healthcare. CSIRT Italy dealt with a total of 1,094 cyber events, for an average of around 90 events per month.
As part of the measures aimed at strengthening the cybersecurity posture of the public administration, the National Cybersecurity Agency also included in its report the implementation of the Cloud Italy Strategy, underlining the importance of promoting the sovereignty and technological autonomy of the country in the management of citizens' and companies' data, starting from the public sector.
Faced with a growing exposure to IT risk and the urgency of adapting business processes to guarantee better data management and protection, companies and public administrations need to be supported on all aspects relating to cloud services, compliance and cybersecurity. The partnership between Netalia and GetSolution aims precisely to offer them integrated solutions in these three areas. The collaboration will allow the creation of an effective synergy between the commercial networks of the two companies, thanks to the sharing of experiences, channels and know-how in the strategic field.
The objective is to encourage digital development in the area, to improve the effectiveness and quality of services for the benefit of companies and public administration, encouraging and managing the implementation of the cloud migration process.
“The collaboration with Netalia represents an added value for GetSolution, as well as an important driver to increase its strategic positioning on the market”, underlined Paola Generali, Managing Director of GetSolution. “In particular, we believe that the partnership can represent the Approach with a capital “A” for a market oriented towards open innovation, open data, AI, big data which require an important commitment in the management of compliance, cybersecurity and governance, to guarantee the integrity, confidentiality and availability of the data”.
