The entire company staff involved in an initiative in favor of Dynamo Camp ETS
HiSolution, a Managed Service Provider specialized in technological solutions in the VoIP, UCC, networking, security and IT fields, which has always been sensitive to issues of sustainability and initiatives in favor of the territory, has decided to institutionalize Corporate Volunteering activities by dedicating an entire day of the company's work to the benefit of the community.
This year the choice fell on the non-profit organisation Dynamo Camp ETS, which since 2007 has offered free Dynamo® Recreational Therapy programs to children and young people with serious or chronic pathologies, and their families. Dynamo Camp is located in Limestre in the province of Pistoia, in a WWF-affiliated oasis of over 900 hectares, and is part of the SeriousFun Children's Network of camps founded in 1988 by Paul Newman and active all over the world.
The day was planned and led by Dynamo Academy, a social enterprise born from the experience of Dynamo Camp, which works with businesses, supporting them in the implementation of concrete actions aimed at creating a social impact for people and in communities.
During the day, the HiSolution team saw purely training and awareness-raising moments alternate with recreational and craft activities to support the Dynamo Camp communities. Specifically, attention was paid to the reorganization of the warehouse (a fundamental activity for the optimal management of spaces during summer camps), and to the renovation of the equipment of the circus tent, a meeting, leisure and entertainment point for children and families during their stay. The day ended with the construction of handmade boxes which will be donated to the families as a gesture of solidarity. The objective of the day was to help make the environment safe and welcoming for children and their families when the summer camps opened.
The experience at the Dynamo Camp saw the enthusiastic participation of employees who not only acquired new practical skills, out of their ordinary and different from their daily work activities, but also worked together in a different context, strengthening teamwork and the spirit of collaboration.
"It was a very emotionally engaging experience that confirmed how the HiSolution Team is a cohesive and determined group even in situations outside of work. We shared unique and special moments that contributed to developing empathy and collaboration even further, aspects that we will carry with us both inside and outside the work dimension" he explains Cecilia Bianconi, HiSolution HR Manager.
HiSolution firmly believes that businesses have a fundamental role in promoting social and environmental progress. This is why the Corporate Volunteering program from this year onwards will be a fixed event for the Tuscan MSP, a concrete example of how companies can be agents of positive change, creating value for their stakeholders and for society as a whole. This is in order both to strengthen the sense of belonging and the bond with the company, promoting greater job satisfaction, and to provide a real and concrete contribution. In this sense, the investment of the Corporate Volunteering day was returned to the Dynamo Camp Community, to contribute actively and proactively to the creation of the Common Good.
HiSolution aims to respect the fundamental principles of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria, i.e. the indicators that allow the analysis of company activities as a whole not only from a financial point of view but also from an environmental, social and good governance point of view.
