The Chinese company BSE specializes in water and air cooling systems with cooling power up to 5.5 MW, as well as heat recovery and reuse solutions
Vertiv, (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and uninterruptible power solutions, announced the acquisition, through its Chinese subsidiary, of the assets and technologies of BiXin Energy Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd (BSE), a manufacturer of chillers, heat pumps, heat recovery solutions and air handling units. Focused on expanding the Vertiv chiller family, the acquisition consolidates Vertiv's portfolio of key technologies and solutions to support HPC and AI applications globally. Established in 2010, BSE has a strong and proven presence in the Chinese market and other Asian regions, as well as industrial patents, advanced technological solutions and excellent research and development capabilities that will enhance Vertiv's global offering.
BSE's flagship product offering includes water- and air-cooled, oil-free, magnetic bearing centrifugal hybrid chillers incorporating pumped refrigerant-saving technology, with cooling capacities up to 5.5 MW. BSE is a leader in the Asian region regarding the centrifugal technique, designed to ensure high efficiency, low maintenance, silent operation and high reliability.

Since early 2024, Vertiv has partnered with BSE to produce Vertiv-branded products for customers in China and across Asia. BSE is a testing center certified by the Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), an affiliate of the China Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association (CRAA), and a recognized top-level technology enterprise in China. Its products are AHRI and CRAA certified. The combination of engineering, testing and technology expertise in centrifugal chillers complements Vertiv's global chiller portfolio.
