Vertiv expands flexible, energy-efficient edge cooling system for small, medium and edge applications in EMEA

Vertiv™ CoolPhase PAM low GWP perimeter cooling system complements Vertiv™ EconoPhase Pumped Refrigerant Economizer models for EU F-Gas compliance, increased safety and zero flammability risk

Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global leader in critical digital infrastructure, expands its portfolio of air-cooled systems Vertiv™ CoolPhase Perimeter PAM with new powers and with the Vertiv™ CoolPhase Condenser. Available across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the solution combines energy efficiency, environmental awareness and operational resilience, offering measurable improvements in both Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), helping to extend the life of systems.

Designed for the next generation of data centers, Vertiv CoolPhase Perimeter PAM now integrates the innovative and highly efficient Vertiv™ EconoPhase Pumped Refrigerant Economizer (PRE), fully integrated into the Vertiv CoolPhase Condenser system. This revolutionary technology aims to reduce energy consumption while improving free-cooling and system reliability, thanks to the use of a pumped refrigerant circuit that operates with a fraction of the power required by traditional compressors, while also saving space. The Vertiv CoolPhase Perimeter PAM range uses R-513A refrigerant, which has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) 70% lower than R-410A, with zero flammability risks and low toxicity.
