The promotion and expansion of responsibilities? follow Padgett's success in his interim role as Chief Growth Officer and Chief Financial Officer
SentinelOne (NYSE: S), a global leader in AI-powered cybersecurity, has appointed Barry Padgett as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. The promotion comes after his successful run as Chief Growth Officer and recent role as Interim Chief Financial Officer. This step follows the entry of Sonalee Parekh as the new CFO, announced in March.
In his new role as President and COO, Padgett will take on responsibility? expanded, with a focus on business strategy and operational excellence across all of SentinelOne's key market-oriented functions.
Padgett has more than 25 years of experience growing and developing leading technology companies. Prior to joining SentinelOne, he held senior roles, including Chief Product and Strategy Officer at Concur, President of SAP, Chief Revenue Officer at Stripe, and Chief Executive Officer at Amperity. In his career, Padget has ? distinguished by its capacity? to coordinate complex, high-performance global teams, aligning different business functions towards common goals.
