The system integrator renews internal processes, enhances team building and relationship with customers and gets an increase of 10% on turnover, continuing investment in resources.
Centro Computer, a consultancy company specializing in IT products, services and solutions for companies, looks at the year just ended with satisfaction and at the months to come with the determination that has distinguished it on the market for 35 years. The company, consistently with the trends of previous years, closed 2018 on a positive note, recording a growth in turnover of 10% compared to 2017. However, what characterized the year were the important organizational changes carried out internally and aimed at innovation and company growth, in view of the numerous opportunities provided by digital innovation.
The company's payoff has always been to enable people and businesses to make the most of the opportunities offered by technologies, increasing user productivity and the business value generated by IT solutions. In line with the Vision 2020 strategy, announced to the market three years ago, Centro Computer thus continues to support companies towards the digital revolution and the new global repositioning project goes precisely in this direction. In particular, thanks to the invaluable consultancy of Gartner, the company has implemented an important and structured internal Team Building action, as well as a series of initiatives involving relationships with customers, a project that will continue in the year that has just begun. But the renovation of Centro Computer also involved other aspects of the company: after intense preparatory work, a new ERP and CRM system was activated on January 1st which saw the inclusion of innovative solutions to replace those implemented at the beginning of 2000.
All these changes have led to the achievement of good results in terms of growth for the company which has also decided to expand its staff, with ten new resources included in the company team, including salespeople and presales managers. Innovation, professionalism, experience and skills with specific digital skills are, however, just some of the ingredients of the success achieved. The percentage of margin and value offered have improved compared to 2017, thanks to the wide range of solutions and the enhancement of specialized teams. The margin also grew thanks to operating fee contracts, which provide a monthly/annual cost per device/user integrating hardware, software and services.
"2018 was an important and challenging year, but at the same time one of great satisfaction" - states Roberto Vicenzi, Vice President of Centro Computer - "Our desire for improvement and growth does not stop in the face of the excellent results obtained. We will face this new year with our extensive expertise and with the spirit of innovators that have always distinguished our company. We want to continue to grow, to propose cutting-edge solutions, investing in the training of our staff."
The Centro Computer teams are multiple and specialized: starting from the Team dedicated to Cloud products and services, then moving on to the Software Defined Data Center, Networking & Infrastructure Security, Data Protection & Mobility & MSP, Unified Communication, Fleet Management, Print Management, Mobility Management Teams, up to the most innovative solutions provided by the Digital Signage and Application Development Teams. Thanks to the collaboration between the teams, the system integrator offers transversal and timely support to companies who can rely on certified professionals with in-depth knowledge of technologies and current market dynamics.
"This year we celebrate 35 years of innovation, during which we have always been careful to grasp new technological trends to guide our customers to improve internal business processes - concludes Vicenzi - The divisions that achieved the most important growth during 2018 are linked to the Data Protection & Mobility & MSP, Print Management and Mobility Management Teams. We are also continuing to invest in projects oriented towards IoT, AI and future opportunities represented by augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), to enable businesses to seize all the opportunities from digital innovation.”
