New entries and growing turnover. One year after its birth, the company has already won many challenges in the IT consultancy sector for manufacturing SMEs
Exactly one year after its birth, Ally Consulting, a leading IT consultancy company that supports manufacturing companies, takes stock of the business trend.
In a period of just 12 months the company has achieved good results, increasing its customer base and consolidating the relationship with Infor to become the reference partner in Italy for the CloudSuite Industrial solution. In a sector like the IT one, Ally wants to stand out for its consultative approach, for its highly innovative solutions but above all for its founding values: flexibility, innovation and concreteness.
Ally's growth can be seen in the numbers but also and above all in the skills; the company expects to close 2020 with a turnover of 3 million euros, with extraordinary growth compared to the previous year (whose turnover of 1 million euros was achieved in just five months of operation), exceeding expectations in a period marked by an unprecedented economic crisis. The customer base is made up of more than one hundred companies in Italy and abroad with various innovation projects for SMEs and with the management of over 2,000 Infor users.
In these 12 months, Ally Consulting has seen an evolution of its role, extending its function as a supplier of specialized digital solutions for the manufacturing sector - of which the ERP system is the beating heart - to become a consultant for businesses, working hard to expand its offer of complementary services to the ERP system, through new strategic partnerships with specialized companies.
The objective is to increasingly consolidate its presence on the market and to guarantee small and medium-sized manufacturing companies 360° support in all processes of the complex digitalisation path. The Ally Partner Network, in addition to Infor, the historic Strategic Partner, currently also sees collaboration with many companies such as: Jps and Twin Group as Consulting Partners and Netsurf, ARXIvar, Overlog, Plannet and FasThink as Solution Partners. Gathering a team of over 200 professionals.
“In recent months we have signed strategic partnerships with specialized companies, in the technological sector with companies for data collection, with companies that develop and implement complementary solutions such as MES systems for the advancement of production, or with training and consultancy companies in the supply chain segment,” he declared Paolo Aversa, Managing Director of Ally Consulting. “Alliances with other companies that promote digital innovation are a fundamental pillar of our consultancy strategy and, as announced last year, we will continue to scout the market to further expand them and provide our clients with tools that allow them to transform technologies into competitive levers to win the new challenges of the modern market”.
Precisely to respond to the expansion of the business and the growing demands of the market, Ally has invested in new hires, distributed between the two offices in Milan and Ravenna. The team of specialists has grown by 15%, bringing the number of professionals present in the company to 38, with the forecast of further new entries in the coming months of Business, Application and Technical consultants.
The company is growing rapidly, starting with the Sales division, led by the recently appointed Sales Manager Ezio Soranzo, who coordinates a team of 6 salespeople. The objective for the near future is to create new Business Units specifically dedicated to areas complementary to the ERP system such as Business Analytics, Asset Management and Business Collaboration.
"Ally Consulting boasts a change of perspective in the provision of consultancy services. With the flexibility of a start-up and the experience of numerous IT projects, it intervenes as an ally to study the situation, understand the business model and identify the most suitable digital transformation path", explains Aversa. "Digitization is a process that discrete manufacturing SMEs can no longer escape. However, the obstacles that companies encounter today are multiple, starting from reduced economic resources, but with the request, however, for high-performance tools and with high levels of functional coverage to continue to make flexibility their winning weapon".
In this first year of activity, Ally has gone from being an anomalous start-up to becoming a real Smart Enterprise that adopts a structured consultancy approach, open to innovation, flexible and at the same time concrete on results, which bases its vision on people's skills and the differentiating role that they can bring: "Inspired by Human".
Founded by Andrea Rosetti and Paolo Aversa, managers with multiple successful entrepreneurial projects behind them and a deep knowledge of the manufacturing sector, Ally Consulting is a digital consultancy company that deals with ERP management systems with a strong focus on the discrete production manufacturing sector. It uses the most modern technologies and the Infor CloudSuite Industrial solution to accompany customers on a Digital Transformation journey, also updating the customer's business model where necessary.
