Computer Center, a consulting company specializing in IT products, services and solutions for companies, takes stock of the business trend and confirms the investments to facilitate companies in facing the new challenges imposed by the modern economy. Although 2020 was an anomalous and complex year, the company records a growing turnover of8% compared to the previous year, reaching a turnover of 50 million euros and reconfirming the positive trend in both smart working solutions and cloud services that ensure quality, reliability, innovation and cost control in line with customer expectations.
Already during the first half of 2020, the health emergency had generated extraordinary requests from companies to prepare employees for so-called agile work. At the end of the year, the business related to the hardware tools of Unified Communication It grew 200%. As well as a strong increase in the demand for mobile devices has been confirmed, especially with regard to the business lines dedicated to Mobility Management, the method that allows you to supply and manage the entire fleet of smartphones and tablets with a single cycle of technological renewal. These solutions, which ensure the guarantee of continuity of services and relieve the company of all problems related to management costs, allowing significant savings in the control of mobile devices, have recorded a significant +191%.
Globally, during 2020 the sector of services indicates a +16% compared to the previous year. The greatest demand originates from cloud services that guarantee high availability and increase in customer application productivity, with particular emphasis on the solutions provided through the Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure platform and on MSP support services, including the proprietary Help Desk service. The brands marketed by Centro Computer that experienced particular growth in 2020 are HP, which represents more than a third of the company's turnover; Samsung, on Mobility Management projects; Microsoft, for cloud solutions and mobility software, Logitech, Jabra and Poly for the world of Unified Communications.
The year that has just ended saw Centro Computer operate on several fronts: new important partnerships were signed with Nutanix, for hyperconvergence solutions of which the company is a Cloud Professional Partner; with Sophos as a Gold Partner for the distribution of solutions for endpoint protection, managed services, public cloud and email security; with Compulocks to complete the offer with professional accessories for mobility solutions also in the Digital Signage field; with Intel, where it has been a Gold Partner in the Intel Technology Provider program for more than a decade; with Habble, for the integration of functionalities and detailed analyzes within its Fleet and Mobility Management consultancy services; and recently Centro Computer has obtained an important recognition from Microsoft, becoming a Silver Partner in the context of the Mixed Reality Partner Program.
Also on the staff front, the company continues to invest constantly, with a +6% of hires compared to the previous year.
Good results from Fleet Management Business Unit, which records an increase in turnover equal to +56%. This business unit was strengthened last July by the company's belief that the financial strategy of companies will be to invest more and more on the "operating cost" - with an annual fee - compared to the "capital cost", proposes solutions that ensure the guarantee continuity of services and relieve the company of all the inherent logistical problems by integrating the advantages of the purchase and operating lease.

Although the general trend is decidedly satisfactory, Centro Computer still detects a decline in the IT market, mainly linked to investments in data centers, networking and multifunction printers, a dynamic generated by the various lock downs and the fact that people are working from home.
In the marketing field, during the year numerous online activities were developed by Centro Computer, through webinars organized in collaboration with the main vendors distributed to attract new customers. A calendar full of communication initiatives is also planned for 2021.
