The range of managed services for businesses offered by the Tuscan company expands with an innovative tool that simplifies governance and negotiation of Telco and IT contracts
HiSolution, an Italian competence center that works alongside companies to accelerate their ICT processes and optimize both economic values and performance, has announced the release of the software platform Babel, a mix of consultancy and software capable of providing the best solution in terms of costs and ICT performance for companies. For over 15 years, HiSolution has supported medium-large sized businesses in any sector with services that allow them to manage the telecommunications, networking, data center and security areas, guaranteeing them an accurate consultancy service and designing the best solutions tailored to their specific needs in compliance with ICT trends, i.e. stability, speed, simplicity and cost-effectiveness.
The need to accelerate and simplify the management of tenders for customers, previously managed manually, was born from the entrepreneurial mind of Luca Coturri, CEO of HiSolution, also driven by the constant acceleration of Digital Transformation processes underway within companies. Coturri therefore began an internal development process together with its team of experts, creating a platform capable of simplifying activities and optimizing time and investments in human energy, guaranteeing maximum performance in terms of results for customers. The forced stop period due to the 2020 lockdown allowed HiSolution consultants to dedicate precious time to the development of the Babel platform, whose name is inevitably inspired by bringing order to the confusion dictated by the large amount of information that companies today find themselves having to analyze in order to make business decisions.
The HiSolution Consulting Team created a solution from scratch, designing the architecture of the platform based on its own consultancy model: on the one hand, the know-how and vertical expertise in the sector acquired over the years, and on the other the use of tools capable of automating business processes.
Babel presents itself to the market with two main modules: Babel Negotiation, i.e. the application for the management of ICT tenders through an innovative dedicated algorithm for automatic evaluation of offers, e Babel Governance, the application to keep costs and ICT services under control, carry out forecasts and manage remediation actions on suppliers.
Within the platform, the user has a constantly updated overview of the status of their contracts, thanks to a series of models with which they can interact, such as:
- Master data: to keep contracts updated and under control with the application management service managed by HiSolution.
- Assessment: which provides the customer's current snapshot thanks to automatic real-time reports on costs and consumption.
- Benchmark: to have constantly updated telco & IT market information.
- Design: to redesign the service based on specific needs.
- Negotiation: Babel core module for the management of all tender steps and the automatic evaluation of offers thanks to an innovative proprietary HiSolution algorithm. This module allows suppliers to enter offers in response to tenders directly on the platform with a dedicated question and answer section to facilitate communication with the customer.
- Governance: a powerful reporting engine and aggregate and/or detailed analysis of costs and consumption.
- Project Management add-on: which manages the post-tender on time & on budget.
The offer is completed by the Help Desk service and proactive HiTrack monitoring, one of HiSolution's flagship services, which allows the constant detection of what is happening on the network and the reporting of possible faults or anomalies even before the customer notices them.
The supplier selection process is based on the offer self-assessment algorithm engineered by the HiSolution team which allows instant identification of the differences between the various offers and the best supplier for the customer. At the end of the tender, HiSolution supports the company in the delivery process of the contracted services by carrying out project management activities (based on the ISIPM model which regulates project management and is applicable to all sectors), supporting the customer in the implementation of the project contracted with the supplier.
