The project, called "Brick", aims to build an HR department that facilitates the evolution of the company structure and the culture of its resources
Talentia Software, a leading company in the development of solutions for the management of human and financial resources for medium and large companies, has joined DAB Pumps, a leading player in the sector of technologies for the movement and management of water, in the digitalization project of HR processes .
Founded in 1975, with over 1700 employees, 6 production plants and 14 sales offices, DAB Pumps is a multinational organization specializing in technologies for water movement, which aim to optimize energy consumption in domestic and residential, civil, commercial and agricultural irrigation systems.
Until last year, DAB Pumps was not equipped with a tool for integrating the various HR practices and many activities were carried out manually without coordination between the different offices. The project called "Brick" was born, from the will of the company of to build on solid foundations an HR Department capable of facilitating the evolution of the corporate structure and the culture of its employees through a single digital tool, standardized for all locations and countries, for the management of processes, activities and human resources.
The project saw the collaboration of Talentia Software which provided the technological solution to support the integrated management of HR processes.
Access to the platform is not exclusive to HR representatives, but specific views and functionalities have also been created for managers and the entire company population. These allow you to retrace the entire employee life cycle in the organizational context, from the Search and Selection process to Offboarding. After the creation of the software environment and initial configurations, the new solution was connected with tools already in use in the company, in order to create a single centralized database. A link has been created between the software and the “Careers” page of the DAB website so that you can post job offers directly from the software and receive external applications. The connection also made it possible to collect documents shared by the candidate on the platform and process them through Artificial Intelligence engines capable of carrying out semantic analyzes in about 15 different languages. The algorithms present autonomously create a matching between the applications received and the positions sought, analyzing the CVs on the one hand, the description of the open position and the required skills on the other. Finally, two other processes relating to the assessment of potential and performance were configured and released.
"The new DAB platform has brought with it multiple benefits in the management of the company's HR processes - he says Francesco Masiero, DAB Pumps project manager “Brick” - The various functions present and the connection with additional support systems have made it possible to make the various activities more efficient, reducing management time and creating greater fluidity ".
Furthermore, it was possible to create a single shared archive space, in which both the personal data of the collaborators and the output data with respect to the processes are loaded. This has favored the sharing of all information and data, now no longer in the possession of the HR Department alone, but which will gradually also be available to managers and the rest of the organization. The use of the Agile methodology has made it possible to involve the most relevant company functions from the beginning, sharing with them a path that will allow them to have a tool that can be adapted to future needs, in which it is easy to implement continuous improvements and updates.
“In the coming months, some features dedicated to reporting will be released, both for managers and for the HR Department, he explains Marco Bossi, Group HCM Business Unit Leader and Managing Director Italy di Talentia Software - In addition, the module dedicated to e-learning will be released, which will complement the compulsory training part already present. New hires will then be implemented in relation to the evaluation and on-boarding process ".
