Vertiv Holdings Co (“Vertiv”) (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and business continuity solutions, announced that Vertiv Holdings Ireland DAC, a privately held company incorporated in Ireland (“Irish Buyer”), Vertiv International Holding Corporation, an Ohio corporation ("US Buyer", collectively identified as "the Buyers" and individually as "the Buyer") and Vertiv have successfully completed their acquisition of E&I Engineering Ireland Limited, a privately held corporation incorporated in Ireland, and its subsidiary Powerbar Gulf LLC, a foreign direct investment, non-freezone limited liability company incorporated and registered in the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone-Government of Ras Al Khaimah (collectively referred to as “E&I”).
“We are pleased to officially welcome the E&I team to Vertiv,” said Rob Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Vertiv. “During the transaction we have had further confirmation of the talent and expertise of the extraordinary E&I team. This acquisition is a real-life example of two companies merging to powerfully amplify their collective ability to create value for customers, employees and shareholders."
Philip D'Doherty, founder of E&I who will remain at Vertiv, said: “This is a tremendous opportunity for E&I customers and employees. When we founded E&I 35 years ago, we could not have imagined that one day we could integrate two highly complementary companies, both with strong market positioning, to form a single global organization capable of providing business-critical digital infrastructure and continuity in every part of the world, guaranteeing the highest quality levels everywhere. But today, with the entry of E&I into Vertiv, this has become a reality”.
