The ranking recognizes the 100 “coolest” cloud companies of 2022 based on five categories: infrastructure, monitoring and management, storage, software and security.

CRN's 100 Coolest Cloud ranking shines a spotlight on technology vendors for their commitment to channel partners, as well as proven innovation in developing cloud-based technologies. The ranking is a trusted resource for solution providers looking for technology vendors best equipped to support the needs of their cloud products and services.

This is the third time in a row that Cohesity has been included in the list. With native support for Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, Cohesity's multicloud data platform works and integrates with leading cloud providers to deliver data mobility across hybrid and multicloud environments. At the same time, the continuous expansion of the offer Data Management as a Service (DMaaS) from Cohesity guarantees companies the choice of SaaS services managed by Cohesity and hosted by AWS. These offerings provide customers with another incredibly easy way to back up, protect and manage their stored data wherever it resides.

Recently, Cohesity announced the availability of the solutions Lately*. Cohesity DataGovern is a data security and management service, which uses Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to automate the discovery of sensitive data and detect anomalous access and usage patterns that could indicate an ongoing cyber attack – the key to thwarting cybercriminals seeking to exfiltrate data. The solution also classifies sensitive data for regulatory compliance needs. Cohesity FortKnox is a service that allows customers to keep an isolated copy of their data in a vault managed by Cohesity to improve its resilience in the event of ransomware attacks. In addition to immutability, this gives customers another means to thwart attackers seeking to encrypt data.

Other DMaaS offerings, widely available today, include:

  • Cohesity DataProtect delivered as a Service, which offers customers another easy way to back up and protect their on-premises and cloud-based data through a SaaS model with infrastructure managed by Cohesity.
  • Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) Cohesity DataProtect delivered as a Service Cohesity DataProtect delivered as a Service and offers an automatic disaster recovery service that minimizes application downtime and data loss. This offering helps companies recover from a ransomware attack, speed data recovery and improve business continuity.
