Talentia Software, a leader in the development of solutions for the management of human and financial resources for medium and large-sized companies, has supported Baglioni, an Italian industrial group of excellence in the production of pressure containers for compressed gases, in the digitalisation of Finance Controlling processes thanks to the adoption of Talentia CPM.
The Baglioni Group, founded in 1968 in Piedmont, manufactures high quality carbon steel and stainless steel pressure equipment for the compressed air tank, air treatment - filtration, cryogenics and Oil & Gas markets.
With over 1,000 employees and a turnover of 160 million euros in 2022, Baglioni operates globally with 3 divisions and 9 production plants between Italy, the United States and China.
In 2013, Baglioni had multiple ERP systems with fragmented databases. It was a management system not suitable for data consolidation which required strong manual skills in reclassifications and produced non-homogeneous reporting. Closures were not timely, intercompany statistics were only reconciled at the end of the year.
The company clearly needed a solution capable of promptly providing data to support the decision-making process, homogeneous internal and external reporting, generation of the monthly consolidated report, as well as speeding up the budget approval procedure and the possibility of drawing up efficient business plans.
In 2014 Baglioni came into contact with Talentia Software which took on the challenge of supporting the company in the digitalisation of processes. Since then, thanks to the adoption of the platform Talent CPM a path of profound transformation was undertaken which, over the years, has led Baglioni today to have homogeneous and comparable data that allow timely decisions to be made, to a strong speeding up of budgeting and forecasting, to having the management consolidated by the 20th of the month and the budget approved by April. Salary planning was also put into operation last year, to better prepare and manage the HR budget and implement effective salary planning, while today the two companies are collaborating on the drafting of the sustainability report.
