For the second consecutive year, the Italian Public Cloud is included in the ranking created by Il Sole 24 Ore and Statista on the Italian companies with the highest growth rate
Netalia, the Italian and independent Public Cloud Service Provider, is among the growth leaders also in 2025, after its debut in the rankings in last year's edition. 12 months later, the company successfully confirms itself among the 500 Italian companies that have achieved the greatest growth over a three-year period, this year between 2020 and 2023, in the annual ranking created by the newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore and from Statesman.
Overall, the impulse of digital transformation drives the ranking across the board, with the IT & Software sector second overall in terms of number of companies, occupying over 10% of the places in the ranking. Netalia is 30th within the sector, with an aggregate growth of almost 45%, a result that rewards Netalia as an example of "Italy that innovates, focusing on unique and distinctive services", to put it in the words of Il Sole 24 Ore.
Among the digital champions, the winning services and applications are those that best aggregate the greatest amount of data and resources, making life easier for users and generating value. For this, an interoperable, scalable, secure and highly reliable cloud infrastructure is essential.
“Netalia it is the public cloud that fully responds to the most advanced needs of the market, combining high performance with security qualifications at the highest levels, full regulatory compliance and the provision of environments suitable for the latest generation application evolution" underlines Michele Zunino, CEO of Netalia “Italy's digital transformation also passes through a technologically advanced infrastructure that is in step with new development logics: for us it is a great satisfaction to know that customers continue to recognize these capabilities and an intrinsically future-proof mentality”.
Digital Made in Italy exists and evolves: Netalia's permanence among the growth leaders is tangible proof of this. The Italian ICT sector, which is worth over 42 billion euros (source: Assintel), is made up of a few large players and many radically innovative companies. “We are proud to be part of this ecosystem, which moves successfully in a competitive scenario dominated by a few global giants: for Netalia, it is an incentive to always do better and to differentiate ourselves through the excellence of the support we dedicate to the PA and Italian companies” concludes Zunino.
To be included among the potential Growth Leaders, organizations must have achieved a turnover of at least 100 thousand euros in 2020 and 1.5 million in 2023. The company must also be independent and meet criteria of good repute. The calculation of the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) is based on the turnover data communicated by the companies and verified by Statista.
964 companies applied for this year's edition, the seventh. The ranking reflects some macro measures to stimulate the economy, from the PNRR to the Superbonus for energy efficiency interventions, with the construction sector at the top in terms of number of companies represented, 18%.
