Ransomware Remediation — Originally developed for large enterprises, the Ransomware Remediation feature minimizes the impact of a ransomware attack. When ESET Ransomware Shield identifies a potential threat, it immediately creates backup copies of the affected files and, once the threat is neutralized, restores the data, returning the system to its previous state.
Improved privacy protection — The new Microphone Monitor feature detects and reports any unauthorized attempts to access the microphone of Windows devices.
Enhanced browser security — Website Security Inspector adds an additional layer of protection against phishing, scams and malicious websites. The feature analyzes the HTML code displayed in the browser for malicious content that cannot be detected at the network level or via URL blacklists.
New features and updates for ESET Cyber Security / ESET Small Business Security (for macOS):
Support for macOS 26 Tahoe — Users can now use ESET Cyber Security even on the latest version of macOS.
Supporto HTTPS e HTTP/3 — Improves overall protection when browsing online.
Device Control — This feature allows you to monitor and manage external devices connected to your Mac, protecting against malware and unauthorized data transfers by limiting access to certain types of devices or specific individual devices.
ESET HOME Security and ESET Small Business Security are available for all major operating systems — Windows, macOS, Android and iOS — and also offer coverage for typical smart home devices. Furthermore, ESET Small Business Security also protects Windows servers. The updated solutions are designed to respond to the evolution of threats with particular attention to prevention, to guarantee a high-level user experience: because truly effective cybersecurity must be easy to configure and manage.
