Centro Computer is organizing an event on October 23rd in Casalecchio del Reno (BO), in partnership with Eon Reality, HP, Microsoft and Samsung, to raise awareness of all the potential of virtual and augmented reality for business
The fusion between the real and virtual world is no longer a dream, but is now a reality. The new technologies of virtual, augmented and mixed reality are in fact profoundly changing the world of planning, production systems, factories, construction and design, giving life to new, more immersive and interactive experiences.
La Mixed Reality It is at the center of the event on 23 October in Casalecchio del Reno, in the province of Bologna, organized by Computer Center and Eon Reality, entitled "Mixed Reality, the new vision of work after 3D CADThe event has free entry (just register at the address www.centrocomputer.it/eventi/subscription/21), sees the participation of important companies such as HP, Microsoft e Samsung, who are focusing and investing heavily in hardware and software technologies, VR and AR applications, aware of the potential that these can have in the business sector.
During the meeting, all visitors will be able to experience, thanks to the HP Reverb and Microsoft HoloLens viewers, HP's best VR workstations and viewers, a new dimension and vision of work. It will be possible design a product beyond 3D CAD and, again before it is realized a physical prototype, see how the virtual object interacts with its surroundings or with other objects.
“We are used to thinking that these technologies have a greater relevance to the consumer and entertainment worlds, in reality more and more companies are realizing the effectiveness and engaging power of these tools in the B2B world,” he commented Roberto Vicenzi, Vice President of Centro Computer. "Especially from the perspective of the Internet of Things, the possibility of seeing how an object interacts with others, on any scale, what its potential or limits are, opens up new avenues in terms of design, research and development. For this reason, many companies are already experimenting with new content in VR and AR for employee training, to promote the quality of their products, for marketing initiatives and the design of new machinery or components."
Thanks to VR, AR and Mixed Reality technologies, engineers, designers, builders and research and development managers have the opportunity to easily navigate data-rich design environments to make more informed and effective decisions. These innovations open up new opportunities for business because they allow you to reduce design costs, optimize the performance of machines and production lines and improve the quality and presentation of products.
