The Italian Public Cloud will be among the protagonists of the event scheduled from 5 to 7 October in Cernobbio, to analyze the new paradigms of digital-led economic growth
Netalia, the independent Italian Public Cloud Service Provider, will participate in the first edition of "ComoLake 2023 Next Generation Innovations", scheduled from 5 to 7 October at the Villa Erba International Exhibition and Congress Center in Cernobbio, on Lake Como.
Netalia will be among the protagonists of the event, which presents itself as "the Cernobbio of digital", and will participate together with institutions, bodies and companies in a dialogue on innovation to guide the digital policies of the coming years. Sponsored by the Department for Digital Transformation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Expo Conference was created as a meeting point between institutions, businesses and universities involved in the new paradigms of economic growth which, in Italy and Europe, will be guided by the investments of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
“Today it is clear how migration to the cloud is a fundamental enabling factor for the effectiveness and efficiency of private enterprise and the public machine: also according to the PNRR the public administration must be able to start a new, fruitful relationship with citizens and businesses”, underlines Michele Zunino, CEO of Netalia, among the speakers of the round tables scheduled in Cernobbio. Always convinced of the need to create a system between public and private to stimulate continuous collaboration between innovative entities, Netalia intends to make its skills and vision available on the cloud here too, to face the challenges posed by digital transformation.
"The cloud, and specifically the public cloud supported by adequate infrastructures, represents a fundamental enabling tool for the country system. Italian companies characterized by an important capacity for innovation can offer a significant contribution to the development of the country's industrial strategy. And they can do so through the creation of a synergistic ecosystem, helping to relaunch a vision of digital not only as an element of technological progress, but as a tool that improves people's lives", continues Zunino. "It's about rethinking national digital in an overall system framework, in which the public and private sectors can not only coexist, but above all collaborate in creating value. The ability to oversee the digital transformation will determine Italy's future international positioning: it is therefore a key factor for being competitive, having a sustainable development model, training the next generations".
The three-day event will feature speeches by representatives of the Italian government, the European Union and the main Italian and international hi-tech companies. The Expo Conference will in fact be an opportunity to stimulate an international discussion on applications and policies, as well as on the opportunities and risks of emerging technologies.
The participants in ComoLake2023 will explore five topics in as many work sessions: Networks, TLC and Services; Metaverse and AI; Energy and Sustainability; Mobility and Transport; Public Administrations and Citizens. The objective is to combine the topics on the agenda with the national and European regulatory frameworks, research, technologies, applications and foreseeable developments expected for the coming years.
There will be over 15 panels hosting 80 speakers from all over the world, with the presence of national and international representatives of government, Parliament, European Commission, regulatory authorities, supranational bodies, universities, companies, experts, consumers and media. A large exhibition area is also planned, which will host the stands of institutions, companies and startups.
